A very successful 'Green' week

In term 6 we embarked on a very exciting 'Green Week' where each class focused on one of the nine Eco Schools topics. There was an on going focus on energy, with pupils monitoring energy efficiency throughout the week. Pupils completed case studies, zooming in on other cultures and countries linking these to the nine topic areas. There was a whole school reduce, reuse, recycle challenge where classes where invited to gather as much recyclable materials as they could during the week and use them to create a model. We then presented our models in a whole school assembly at the end of the week and they were judged by members of the eco committee.
