Ospringe Church

Reverend Dan Corcoran

Hi everyone!

I'm Dan and I've been working in four of the Faversham churches since September 2019. One of those churches is your lovely church in Ospringe.

It has been great to get to know your wonderful primary school during Collective Worship, in your classrooms, in the Monday lunchtime Singalong club, in the playground and in the church. It's great to be involved.

Bless you all and your families lots.

The school has very close links with St Peter and St Paul Church at Ospringe.  The Church is within walking distance from the school and classes regularly visit to assist with their religious education lessons.
Christmas and Easter services also take place at Ospringe Church where our pupils perform readings, drama, songs and poetry. Parents are invited to attend.

Our year 6 leavers service takes place at St Mary of Charity parish church

Our pupils also visit Canterbury Cathedral to attend special services and also to learn about the history of the building.

They also attend workshops to take part in activities like stonemasonary, calligraphy and stained glass.  They also have a guided tour of the cathedral where they can dress up as historical characters and learn about different events that took place in and around Canterbury.

ACTIVE CHURCH

We meet the 3rd Sunday of every month at West Faversham Community Centre at 4pm for action, adventure, songs, stories, games and food. All are very welcome.
