School Values
Compassion
We believe that a compassionate school community provides a loving and warm-hearted environment whose members follow God's example, not only in school but also in the wider world.
(Story of Creation - Genesis 1)
Forgiveness
We believe that although it is human to make bad choices, God's example teaches forgiveness through love and acceptance.
(The Prodigal son - Luke 15 v11-24)
Perseverance
We believe that our whole school community will flourish if we encourage each other to stand up for what we believe and never give up.
(The Story of Noah - Genesis 6 v5-22)
Equality
We believe that everyone is created equal in God's image and should be treated with consideration, kindness and respect, no matter what their differences.
(A new commandment - John 13 v34-25)
Honesty
We believe that being honest is part of being a community with God. We will be true to ourselves and each other so that relationships are built through trust and nothing is hidden.
(Peter's Denial - Luke 22 v54 - 62)
Courage
We believe that through trusting in God, everyone in our school community can have the courage or bravery to face fear and approach new things.
(Joshua - Joshua 1 v9)
