The school has very close links with St Peter and St Paul Church at Ospringe. The Church is within walking distance from the school and classes regularly visit to assist with their religious education lessons.
During September 2016 members of our school council visited Canterbury Cathedral and attended a service. The theme was Growth and New Beginnings. As well as taking part in the service the children wrote prayers and planted crocus bulbs. Our year 6 pupils also have a visit planned in November 2017 to participate in the Canterbury Cathedral's Schools Day.
Recently our year 4 pupils visited Canterbury Cathedral to find out more about Archbishop Thomas Becket. They also visited the education centre where they took part in many activities including stained glass, dressing up in Medieval costumes and masonry skills.
On Remembrance Day the whole school observed the 2 minute silence. All classes visited our labyrinth garden for quiet reflection and prayer.
We also sold poppies for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
We meet the 3rd Sunday of every month at West Faversham Community Centre at 4pm for action, adventure, songs, stories, games and food. All are very welcome.
